Are you a Cali girl? Is your wardrobe a mixing pot of maxi dresses, cutoff shorts, crop tops, flats? Or do you prefer the model off duty uniform of black + leather + skyscraper heels?
Coachella is like California’s fashion week, when all of the hippie fashionistas come out to play. Why so serious New York? Instead of high-stakes catwalks let’s gather around and enjoy the music. Peace!

am a new yorker – so love our look!cali look – good for summer
such a hard decision! but think i am a cali sort of girl as i just think it looks better on me personally but lovee the NY look too! xx
This is such a good example of the differences between East Coast and West Coast style. I'm a Bostonian, so I definitely dress more like a New Yorker, but I try to lighten it up when the weather gets warm.
I am NY all the way..! It's all about covered legs, deep black and genuine attitude (only in the most positive way!) x
Love both versions of style! But if I really really need to pick it would be LA style..relax and loose!http://thebasicss.blogspot.com
I'm torn! Can I choose both?!
WEST COAST = best coast ;)California native soul.. and my style is directly influenced by my surroundings. I absolutely love the chill/laid-back look that is so effortlessly cool. New York style is just a bit too uptight for me. Although that's a very general statement, and it can be super rad at times.. its just not carefree and glowing like a california girl.
Haha, great post! I think I'm a mix of both, depending on the mood. Besos!
As "Manu", I think I'm a mix of both too. Thanks for your comment
Very cool contrast! I feel that I am more NY though I love Cali 🙂 Thank you for sharing!
i appreciate both but i am definitely a west coast girl at heart.
Oh my. We are pretty heavy with the black, aren't we.
