This weekend why not… No. 2

 
It’s almost fall, but not quite (the first day of fall is tomorrow!) I mean, it’s still 93 degrees outside. Veritable bikini weather! Which has me totally torn, of course I want to pull out the knits and boots (ohhh the boots) but I’m still clinging to the dog days of summer – bikinis, neon, beach hair. This weekend why not take a cue from Zippora here and wear BOTH! Neon, knits and bikinis, or even better: a neon knit bikini. That’s what I call transitional wear! So this weekend I’ll be searching the bikini sale racks, what will you be doing?

Ok, also can we talk about this? Her name is Zippora Seven. Zippora Seven! Is that a name?

Beach Feel

What is it with beachwear accessories? Is it their bohemian feel or their easy laid back appeal. Or, as I’ve mentioned before, is it the absurdity that a trip to the beach should warrant any jewelry at all?
Either way, I can’t get enough of it. Especially the colorful necklaces from Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection.

Beach Accessories

Today I feel like loading on an excessive amount of accessories (see rings in post below) and heading down to the beach. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, watches, you name it I’ll wear it. It all adds to that ‘yes I’m at the beach but there is no way I’m touching the water in my Fendi’ look. The accessories in this editorial are beautifully styled, especially the layered Me&Ro pearl necklaces.
