I’m finally on the Elizabeth Olsen bandwagon. You know I’m fiercely loyal to my girls MKA, but Elizabeth is proving her sense of style to be genuine and uniquely her own, which I love. How bout you guys, are you into Elizabeth? She’s definitely growing on me.
We did it dear readers! We reached 500 followers! The big five-oh-oh.
I may or may not have run up and down my stairs shrieking “yayyyyyy yayyyyyy yayyyyy” just now. When you start out with 3 readers and one is your boyfriend and another is yourself, you grow to cherish these milestones. To that third reader who started the journey with me, this one’s for you! To mark this wonderful occasion, I’ve updated the Fuji Files header! Not Abbey Lee in her McQueen lobster shoes, (she’s still up there and I don’t think I can ever part with her) but the tag line. After plenty of green tea-fueled late night blog-soul-searching I came up with a motto of sorts:

A friend (and reader!) recently told me these are his favorite posts on FF. I have to agree. The girls never fail to satisfy the entirely-black-outfit lover in me. But in recent months the twins have been exercising their ladylike sensibilities with structured handbags and pointy kitten heels, and I like it just as much as the baggy boho Olsens we grew up with. What a relief to see that even the Olsens go through fashion phases just like the rest of us! Except not really like the rest of us, at all.
What did you all do for FNO? What did you wear? Lots of lovely looks here, I’m honestly having a hard time picking a favorite. It’s a stylish collection from London to New York to Paris to LA!
I’m partial to Rachel Bilson… but then there’s SJP in her leather dress, ADR in a purple gladiator frock, Jess Hart in bold houndstooth, Nicole Richie in all her hippie glory, Emmanuelle Alt in Parisian chic, the always sexy angels, and who could forget – the Olsens! Who can choose a fav?
