FOR LIKE… EVER

I’ve been in love with this poster for like, ever. (Sorry, I had to). I know that one day I’ll buy one for my own place but I’ve just been unable to settle on a color! The classic pink and red? Or the brighter fluorescent pink. Or my signature citron? There’s also a metallic gold. Help!

I think I’ve managed to narrow it down to the classic pink + red or the neon citron, what do you think? Which color should I get?

INTERIORS:: ART GALLERY

The first thing I see when I look at a room is the art, so imagine my glee in staring at this living room by Eric Cohler! Art everywhere. Even over the windows! My little art collection so far consists of 5 paintings, but it’s my dream that one day my home will be filled with this much art. Large format paintings mixed with black and white photography and traditional paintings, love it all. 

And how bout that couch?

DIY:: Frames + Shopping bags

This is a great post-Christmas diy, for anyone with stacks of shopping bags in their closet that are just too pretty to throw away and may come in handy one day. (guilty)
I know this is a touch materialistic but the design of brands really is an art and I think this display would be absolutely perfect for a walk-in closet. What do you think?

These photos show that a black canvas works beautifully with white walls and accessories, and pink orchids really pop against this backdrop! It also serves to add some depth to a room and really anchor the space. So what’s stopping you? Surely the easiest. DIY. ever.

A selection of the world’s top models, or the world’s most stylish bunny, Fifi Lapin? I tend to think Fifi rocks the Burberry F/W 2010 like no one’s business. Is it strange to be jealous of a bunny? How about a 2-d illustration of a fictional bunny? Hmm.. thought so

You may remember that magical lookbook for Erin Wasson x RVCA. Of course the clothes were classic Wasson cool but it was Alia Penner’s illustrations that really made the lookbook special. I love her style, how she takes regular photos and makes them extraordinary. Talent crush.

I’m really feeling big bold artworks on white walls right now. It makes me want to just paint bold abstract blocks of color over the big black & white photo I have on my living room wall. Is that crazy? 

Also, these photos were way more vivid in color before I uploaded them in blogger, does anyone else have this problem?
