Why Oh Why did I include these irresistible Topshop wedges in my Shopping Ban post? Totally counter-intuitive. My only refuge is that they’re sold out. So even if I wanted to, I couldn’t fold under the pressure of their sky-high pink wedge platform heels. But doesn’t Denni look fly?

SHOPPING BAN:: TAKE TWO

Sorry guys, I cracked.. But let me explain! I decided to buy these shoes last week but then they sold out and I was reeeally sad and was kicking myself for spending too much time deliberating and trying to be sensible. But THEN today I realized they were back in stock so I quickly had to snap them up before they sold out again!  

So really, it counts as last week’s purchase that finally came to fruition today. No harm done. Right? Anyway, the new ban starts today.

This kid cracks me up… And infuriates me. He’s at once both a scruffy kid and more stylish than me at the same time. Stefano Pilati presents the YSL Spring Men’s collection in this short film, shot by French actor/writer/director Samuel Benchetrit and starring Benchetrit’s 11-year-old son, Jules. Infuriatingly stylin’ Parisian kid Jules.

SHOPPING BAN 2010

It has been a particularly over-indulgent shopping week for me. Yes, as in I shop every week. Therefore,

I hereby place myself on an official shopping ban until 28 June 2010.

Please do not tempt me with your vintage dresses and your killer boots and your weathered leather jackets. I will have none of that. In the meantime, I eagerly await the arrival of all my recent online purchases 😉 I’m hoping they will tide me over as they slowly arrive over the next month.
